As 'Doctor' in "Sunao ni Narenakute"...
This Japanese drama was released in September 2010. Jaejoong plays a Korean living in Japan (with his younger sister) as a medical sales rep but called himself 'doctor' on Twitter where he met and became close friends with 'strangers' from twitter land.
Jaejoong plays a rather pathetic man with a lot of insecurities but our collective hearts break for him...

"Protect the Boss"...ahhhhhhhh what to say about Cha MuWon!
Aired on SBS-August 2011. Jaejoong plays the perfect "Prince of the Finance World" Cha MuWon who is a business and love rival to the laid back and lazy Cha Ji Heon (Ji Sung).
This drama is so much fun and very enjoyable. And we are not even gonna talk about the Cha MuWon hair!!!

This drama was aired on MBC in May 2012 to admirable ratings of 13%...I would say that Jaejoong (his character and his portrayal) is the best thing in Dr. Jin...even the non-JJ fans say this as well...JaeJoong's acting had vastly improved and audience tears came down bucket loads for his character...This drama stars Song SeungHeon and Park MinYoung.

"The Jackal is Coming" (or Code Name: Jackal) with his CJES Noona Song JiHyo.
Jaejoong filmed this movie at the same timeframe as the Dr. Jin drama...
He plays a narcissist pop idol/Hallyu star (hehehe, not farfetched from JJ) who ended up a kidnap victim by the assassin Bong MinJung (SJH)...of course this is a dark comedy and JJ dove and lost himself into the work without care of his idol image...
He worked extremely hard without complaints. There are reports that he would sleep for 30 minutes in between takes and makeup artists would apply touch ups on sleeping JJ. The movie was released on November 2012 to good success.

I have been to Cojjee and it had a great atmosphere. Totally fan friendly (not only for JYJ fans but for any celebs in Korea.
